This file recovery utility has a wizard interface so the file recovery process is not complicated. But the program settings are very flexible - iRecovery offers a wide range of configuration options. You can override file system type and parameters, control disk access parameters (in case the hard drive containing bad sectors). This may scary not a tech-savvy user, but the file recovery process can be done using default options.
iRecover has a RAID 0 and RAID 5 recovery possibilities and can create a RAW image file of a volume, a disk or an entire (reconstructed) RAID array and recover data from the image file.

iRecover supports FAT, FAT32, NTFS (all versions) and Linux Ext2 and works on Windows 2000/XP and Vista OS.
